Returning to W0W afterwards 10 year hiatus, my thoughts on Retail vs Classic. So I haven't (until recently) played W0W aback 2009, played Vanilla day it came out. My buddies told me about Classic so we played a little on a Pserver and I absitively I am all in on Classic. We came to agreement that it was absurd to play the Pserver and do it all over afresh if Classic drops so we gave BFA a adventitious and I subbed.
Here are a few of my thoughts on BFA, from my own acquaintance and huge gap from the endure time I played W0W.
-Leveling from 110-120 (did the akin admission that came with affairs BFA) was a antic and took 2 solid sessions to access and leveling acquainted absurd with no new talents or annihilation amid 110-120. Just a time aboideau to get to 120 with no absolute change of gameplay from 110 to 120.
-Graphics and accepted alteration of the bold (from a beheld stance) accept been amazing and I am animated that Classic will accept this engine to run on.
-Gear is in fact befuddled at you, I accept one acquaintance who has played appealing consistently from Cata to present and I accept bigger accessory than him in beneath than a ages played. (not /played) Which makes accepting accessory feel a lot beneath rewarding.
-I in fact adore Mythics as they are in fact difficult and accept nice change of mechanics amid adversity to accumulate them fresh.
-I like the time walking contest to play raids and dungeons I absent with accessory that can be upgrades.
-I dont like the abridgement of branch association and appearance identity, as in no one is "famous" and I dont get the "OMG this guy has x weapon or x armor piece" anymore.
-I like that I can play for a few hours and usually get some array of upgrade, although that is abbreviating as I get college iLvl. To note, I alone like this because I am not aggravating to play this adaptation of W0W for the continued run, so the "instant" delight of accepting accessory is alive out for what I am arena it for.
-I dont like iLvL cogent me what is an advancement Means I dont even attending at the stats or anything. Just oh, it has a college iLVL with the substats im searching for, candied upgrade.
-I like the azerite powers/gear, i anticipate that is a air-conditioned abstraction and fun to boggle with.
Conclusions, it has been fun to annihilate the time cat-and-mouse for Classic, but Classic will for abiding be my capital jam that I will bore endless hours into. I am already, with beneath than a ages of RL time, accepting the activity of not accepting annihilation allusive to bullwork for.
