We can't play with all of our friends. You may like the person, but they will could could could could cause you to get a loss. They can't play at a top level, so if you play with them they could get you demoted. This brings the affliction out in people.

We can't blow rank with players we don't know. I admired accepting able to play basketball in the Rec in 2k18 because there was no rank. I could run with randoms all day long, and it didn't matter.

4. Rank encourages us not to play

5. There is no rank in the NBA
